They say, "JUST DO IT," right?
But it's not always that easy. I’ve spent the past few weeks thinking about how to start. I've always wanted to have a blog where I could share my world, and I thought it would fit nicely with my project. But what if I’m not a good writer? What if it’s not perfect or—worst of all—no one reads it? All these questions held me back, and I got stuck for a while.
Then a friend advised me, "It’s better imperfectly done than not done at all." So here I am, writing my first post. And I’m so happy and excited about it!
I designed this website myself—it’s not just a handmade bags; this project is all about discovery and experimentation. It’s a collection but also about making connections, learning new things, and challenging myself. While I was creating the website, I asked a designer friend for feedback. She said, "Don’t write too much. People don’t like reading anymore." That’s sad, don’t you think?
I’ve been writing in a journal for over a year now as a kind of therapy. So, I thought, if I’ve been doing this for over a year, and I don’t go back to read it, maybe it doesn’t matter if no one reads my blog—I still want to write! It’s about the journey, not the results. It could even be a “secret blog.” And if you’re reading, please let me know! I’d love to build a little community with people who share my interests and want to make meaningful connections.
In this blog, I’ll write about things in my world—the challenges within this project, the feelings, the lessons learned, and my experiences. Feel free to connect with me. I’d love to hear from you!
See you soon :)
